Think of your couple session as an intimate date night (or day) where I'll be your third wheel, armed with a camera.

Couples sessions are like a trial run, an opportunity to get all your camera-shy awkwardness out of the way before your wedding day!

Date Night Chronicles

Choose an activity that holds meaning too you both! This not only makes your photos extra special and intimate but also helps you feel more at ease during the shoot.

You deserve an hour of unadulterated, undistracted connection time with one another oh, and we can get some awesome photos too!  

how to:

  • Many couples choose to have these photos taken at the restaurant where they had their first date, the spot where they got engaged, or just a place you love to frequent as a couple. You, eat, drink, talk, kiss, play and ill snap photos throughout the whole thing. Let's have some fun with it and come up with some really fun ideas for your photos.

    • Couple’s sessions usually take about 1 ish hour.

    • Lighting-wise, it’s best to stay away from the middle of the day – early morning or later in the afternoon are best. This is when the light is at its most beautiful (especially during golden hour), resulting in a much more beautiful session. You won't be worried about squinty eyes or harsh shadows either!

  • From spontaneous adventures to embracing your quirks, I’m here to help bring your wildest ideas to life. As you start planning the look and feel of your photo shoot (Pinterest is your friend), remember that the key is to make it uniquely yours.

    • Pro-tip to keep in mind as you curate your couple’s shoot outfits: aim for complementary styles rather than perfectly matching ensembles.

  • If you have a trial booked for your hair and makeup then talk to us about the possibility of having your couple session on the same day.

    • I only book couples sessions, Sunday to Thursday.

    • I charge travel fees for couple sessions in Sydney unless I am already in the area.
