BOOKING
Do you offer payment plans?
Sure do! Once you make a booking, you'll have several payment options available for settling the remaining balance. To secure the date, a booking fee of 20% is required, and the full balance must be paid no later than one month prior to your wedding. It’s that simple!
Is there paperwork/ contracts involved in booking your services?
All my couples need to sign a contract upon booking our services. Don’t worry; it can all be done online.
We don't want to be up-sold massively at the end.
I am 100% transparent with my pricing. My packages include everything you could want for your wedding day, so no upsells are required. Of course, if anyone wants any additional products after the day, that option is available, but you will find that most of the essentials are already included.
Can we do a practice round before the big day?
I would love nothing more! Having photos before your big day makes the whole process much easier! Doing a couple session is a chance to have a practice run and get any camera shyness out of the way. I include an engagement shoot in every package for no extra cost- that’s how much I want to get you in front of the camera BEFORE your big day! Read more about couple sessions here.
Do you travel for weddings?
Sure do! Let’s climb a mountain together!
Travel within 3 hours of Newcastle, NSW, will be free. Anything overseas will be quoted on request. If I’m in the country at the time, there will be no travel fee!
We're loving it, how can we book?
Yes, I'm so keen to chat! drop me an email (or fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page) and we can schedule a time to get together! Booking is super easy and can all be done online. You will need to pay a booking fee, fill in the booking form and sign our contract but then, I’m all yours baby!
ON THE DAY
How much time we have to dedicate to photos on the day?
We won’t keep you away from everyone all day! Usually, we spend no more than an hour and a half out on location capturing images with you and your wedding party. Plus, I make it pretty fun so the time will just fly by!
Do I need two photographers to capture my day?
So it's not essential BUT having two photographers on your big day will mean we can be in 2 places at once, we can capture two unique perspectives and get heaps of extra candids. Plus it's always good to have another pair of hands to do a veil toss.
Do we need to provide a “shot list”?
No, thank you! I prefer to photograph in a photojournalistic manner, capturing the organic flow of events as they unfold naturally. Following a specific shot list would inhibit my creativity and spontaneity. However, I would love a list of family groups for the more formal photos.
Tell me about film photography?
This is the very artsy side of my business and I love nothing more. I can bring a roll or two of traditional 35mm film, and I’ll shoot away, just like I would my digital camera. After the day I get the film developed and provide you with a digital copy.
DELIVERY
Do you edit the photos?
I work on the day to ensure that we have to do as little retouching as possible. I like to keep it as authentic as possible and am all for promoting realistic body standards! I can do specific retouching on request but a fee will occur for this service.
What are online galleries?
Our online galleries are an easy way to view, share and download your images. No need to worry about emailing the photos to everyone, simply share the link with them. Not to mention you get access to our online store for additional product purchases. Your gallery will stay active for a lifetime so you will never lose your memories in a draw. How long does it take to receive my images?
I know you are keen so let's get it going! You will receive your highlights gallery within the week of your wedding and the full gallery in approximately 1 month (this varies depending on the time of year).
Making your images look top-notch is a bit of a process but I promise I won’t keep you hanging for too long!
